Privacy policy

Integrity Plus is a recruitment business which provides recruitment services to its clients and work finding services to candidates. The Company must process personal data so that it can provide these services – in doing so, the Company acts as a data controller.
You may give your personal details to the Company directly, such as on an application or registration form or via our website, or we may collect them from another source such as a jobs board and social media site such as facebook or linked in. The Company must have a legal basis for processing your personal data. For the purposes of providing you with work-finding services and/or information relating to roles relevant to you we will only use your personal data in accordance with the terms of the following statement.

Please remember that Integrity Plus are not responsible for the privacy practises at other client sites where your CV or other personal data linked to your job seeking may have been retained for work seeking purposes by the client recruiter.  Therefore this privacy statement is just for Integrity Plus Ltd

2. Data retention

The Company will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary. Different laws require us to keep different data for different periods of time. The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, require us to keep work-seeker records for at least one year from (a) the date of their creation or (b) 2 years after the date on which we last provide you with work-finding services.

We must also keep your payroll records, holiday pay, sick pay and pensions auto-enrolment records for as long as is legally required by HMRC and associated national minimum wage, social security and tax legislation.

Where the Company has obtained your consent to process your personal and sensitive personal data we will do so in line with our retention policy (a copy of which is available upon request). Upon expiry of that period the Company may seek further consent from you. Where consent is not granted the Company will cease to process your personal data and sensitive personal data.

6. Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on the users hard drive containing information about the user.  Usage of a cookie is in no way linked not any personally identifiable information while on our site.  Once the user closed their browser the cookie terminates.  We do not currently have a log in on our site.  If we did or do in the future the user would not have to log in a password more than once, saving time whilst on our site.  If you reject cookies you can still use our site, but certain features may be disabled.

We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

7. Security

Our data is kept on a secure cloud database requiring a password log in.  Only our office employees have passwords.  Passwords are not given out to third parties.  Client auditors are not permitted to log onto our database. Hard copies of personal data are kept in a secure filing cabinet.  After 1 year all inactive candidate information is shredded and deleted from our database unless we have consent or legitimate reasons to keep it as outlined in this privacy statement.
